This Privacy Policy explains what information Escapay (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects when you visit timetoescapay.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Escapay is evacuation insurance in development and is not yet available for purchase.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you join our waitlist or contact us, we collect your name and email address, and anything else you choose to include in your message.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our site, we and our analytics provider automatically collect standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived at our site, and the date and time of your visit.
Blog comments. If comments are open and you leave one, we collect the name, email address and comment you submit, along with your IP address and browser information to help detect spam.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect the technical information described above. You can learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
WordPress, the platform our site runs on, also sets cookies needed for the site to work, such as cookies that remember comment details or keep site administrators logged in.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run our site and business, such as our website hosting provider, our analytics provider (Google) and the tools we use to store form submissions and send email. These providers may use your information only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Escapay, our users or others.
How long we keep your information
We keep waitlist information until Escapay launches and you decide whether to become a customer, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first. We keep messages you send us for as long as needed to respond and keep reasonable records. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings in our Google Analytics account.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe: every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe, or you can email us.
- Access, correction and deletion: you can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing hello@timetoescapay.com.
- Additional rights: depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under state law. Contact us and we will respond as required by applicable law.
When Escapay coverage launches
Our coverage will be priced and paid based on your address, so when Escapay launches we will need to collect additional information, such as your home address and payment details. We will update this policy to explain how we collect, use and protect that information before we begin collecting it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we collect. No method of transmitting or storing information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If we make significant changes, we will let waitlist members know by email.
